The Driver CPC course is designed to be convenient and easy to follow. The day before your Zoom meeting, you’ll receive access to a 2-hour interactive e-learning module. You have the flexibility to progress at your preferred pace and save your work as you move through the module.
The following day, you’ll have a live Zoom meeting that lasts for five hours, rather than the usual seven. This approach helps spread the learning experience over two days, making it more accessible and effective for all participants.
Drug and Alcohol Awareness
This course is designed to educate candidates on the risks and dangers associated with drug and alcohol abuse, as well as provide practical tools and strategies to prevent and manage substance misuse.
Throughout the course, candidates will gain a comprehensive understanding of the physical, psychological, and social impacts of substance abuse, as well as the legal implications of drug and alcohol-related offenses. They will also learn about the different types of drugs and alcohol, their effects on the body and mind, and how to identify signs of drug and alcohol abuse in others.
In addition, candidates will gain practical skills and strategies for preventing and managing substance misuse, including how to resist peer pressure, make responsible decisions, and seek help when needed. By the end of the course, candidates will have the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions about drug and alcohol use and help promote a safe and healthy environment for themselves and others.
Bridge Strikes
Candidates will learn about the various aspects of bridge strikes, including legal requirements, measurement techniques, bridge types, traffic signage, reporting procedures, and consequences.
Throughout this course, candidates will learn about the legal requirements for displaying vehicle height and how to measure the height of their vehicle, load, and equipment. Additionally, participants will explore the different types of bridges and the traffic signage associated with them to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of how to avoid bridge strikes.
candidates will also gain knowledge on how to report a bridge strike and the potential consequences of such an incident. By the end of this course, candidates will have the skills and knowledge needed to take all necessary precautions and follow proper procedures to prevent bridge strikes from occurring.
