Driver CPC periodic training should focus on your continuing development and help you become a safer and more professional driver. 

There are over 3000 approved courses which cover diverse subjects that will improve your driving skills and increase your value to employers. Regulations specify that a range of different subjects should be covered over your 35 hours of training. 

DVSA/JAUPT will monitor training uploads and potentially take action against you if they identify unnecessary repetition of course attendance in a rolling 5-year period.

 Doing the same course five times in quick succession cannot be justified.

 However, it is known that there are circumstances where repetition of periodic training is appropriate within a structured training regime, such as remedial or refresher training in Driver Hours

How do I check my previous Driver CPC Modules?

• In the first instance, you should check with the official government website
• If your courses are described only as ‘Modular courses with no name, often you will find that your previous course provider has emailed you the certificate, so check back in your emails.
• The final option is to check with your previous course provider. They should keep a record.
